Welcome to my page! I’m Kathy Sullivan, parent of 2 teenagers (yes 2 teenagers and proud to say I am still sane), writer and casserole extraordinaire. I’m actually working from home now, which has its advantages and disadvantages. But, I am very excited to be a part of the U22 youth checking account website. As a proud momma, I vividly remember the days when Bill and I taught our kids the ABC’s, how to use the bathroom, say please and thank you, how to ride a bike, and soon, I will be showing them how to drive a car...Bill’s car! These are great moments and milestones in our family, wonderful memories I will always cherish. Even though they're older now, there is still a lot they have to learn; and it’s my job to continue to educate them. And, one of the most important lessons I can teach them are money lessons. This is one I haven’t really focused on enough probably, but it’s definitely a worthwhile topic. So, I’m going to start educating myself and my family. That’s what I’ll be writing about mostly, teens, family-life and finances. So, today is the day I commit myself to making sure my kids are financially literate and ready to take on the world. I look forward to hearing other parent’s stories, comments and suggestions. Let’s talk!
